To me, liking someone is like making friends. The person is shrouded with mystery and you just want to get to know him/her and grow to be good friends or maybe to discover you don't like him/her as much as you thought.
It's always easy to like someone.
And when we know someone likes us, it feeds our ego.
But to truly love and commit to the only one person that means the world to us...
Well, that's a different ball game.
For me, loving someone is to truly stay committed to solely him/her. To tolerate all the things he/she might do, even if it might drive you crazy. To forgive and sacrifice for them as they mean the world to you. To perform any ridiculous acts in order to see that tiny smile on their face. To give more than you receive, for they are special and you want to see them live out their best.
To love is to make yourself vulnerable and risk being heartbroken.
But without taking risks, how can we experience life fully?
I could go on and on but I guess you guys know what I mean.
Like and love are totally different things. Liking someone doesn't necessary lead to loving him/her. I always believed that a strong friendship and a common goal should be set before a relationship occurs so that it maybe fruitful and could eventually last. (:
So yeah, this is my view on things. It may be different from what others think, but hey... this is MY BLOG, MY THOUGHTS which I would love to share. Hahaha!
Ming signing out!
God bless!

I agree with your philosophy. And I also agree that this blog is YOUR thoughts to share not the AUDIENCE'S thoughts to share =D. You still single?
Hahaha, nice quote from the sermon about risking. Yeap, I'm still single. Btw, how are you doing over in KL buddy? (:
If there was a like button, I'd click on it (Okay, lame xD)
