D.A.Y.A.Ks does the 50K (Section A)

Hey guys!!! The team finally made it through the treacherous 50KM endurance course in 10.5 hours! We planned to finish it in 6-7 hours, but didn't (for me) expect sector C and D to have really high varying elevations, especially the 1000-steps which I'll get to that on later posts.

Yeap, 50KM. That's like running around Likas Stadium 125 times WITHOUT the extreme elevations of the Dandenong ranges!

Go the Extra Mile for the Dalit Kids in India. :)

Here's the entire trail information.
The course is divided into 4 sectors, Section A being the 1st 15KM of the whole course etc...

---------------------------------------Section A(15KM)------------------------------------

Distance: 15KM
Max elevation from start point: 20m
Time of completion(TCOM): 1.9 hours

We woke up around 4AM to pack and ready ourselves for the run. Was really cold that time, think it was around 8C. The group met at Arrow and we zoomed off to the gathering point.

Registration and starting point. 6AM
