My house church and I just had an awesome time with Aunty Quilin. Had dinner, great dessert and of course awesome bible study and sharing.
A few things I would love to point out to my dear readers.
Some of us(like me) are so privileged to have Christian parents! It's an easy start for us to build a stronger, mightier temple for God without first clearing the land(generations of idol worshipping, curses etc...).
Like some friends of mine, they had to struggle with their parents in order to live a Christian life to the point they were driven out of their own home by their own parents just because they want to know the Lord!
For me, I already have this blessing when I was born on this Earth.
My parents struggled for me, for my siblings.
And I won't let that go to waste!
Like Aunty Quilin said, if you give an architect two options between renovating an old house or a cleared up land... which would the architect choose?
The answer is obvious.
The only problem is, we as 2nd generation Christians... we take things for granted.
The land that was cleared for us by our parents, we should build a temple which could soar through the skies for God, but instead a lot of us take things for granted and build rotten things on the given space.
Our worldly desires hinder our vision. We only have one life, one fragile life to live. Let us not screw it up for temporary pleasures/desires as in the end, we all will be judged by our actions.
Instead, let us sharpen ourselves like a two-edged sword and prepare ourselves for battles with the enemy whenever and wherever he may strike!
The Devil is cunning and mischievous, but let us always be prepared.
Here's the verses we shared today over at Aunty Quilins'
Isaiah 49:1-6
That's all for today! The DAYAKs are bulking up with carbs for the 50KM run. The weather ain't too good and we may run in 14C weather on Saturday morning. But all will be exciting and of course FUN!
Good night peeps!
God bless you all!

your thoughts about not being corrupted by the world reminds me of tobymac's song, there's a line that goes, 'I don't want to gain the whole world, and lose my soul'
