Tony Robbins asks why we do what we do | Video on TED.com

An awesome video about why we do what we do, things that lead us to what we did and how can we grab hold on the 'good' things in life so that we can shape a better future for ourself and the community we live in.

A tiny part of the video that really struck me was when Robbin said, when a person who has been emotionally, physically, psychologically or sexually abused or hurt to a great extent, MOST of them contribute more towards society.

I find this pretty true as I have found myself helping out under privileged kids, donating blood to save lives etc... due to what has happened to me in the past. I asked myself why am I doing this, maybe it is because there was already an in-built part of me who wants to help out the community, or maybe I am just looking for more love and joy from another source by helping people and the community out and seeing the smiles on their faces which brightens up my day every time! :D

The past shapes the present. The present shapes the future. Get the right parts, and you'll gain the right results in time. :)

Give yourself a thought. What critical events that happened in your life shaped who you are now? Do you like what you have at the moment? Are you proud of who you are? Also, think about what could have happened if you were given a chance to do something different during those critical moments.

Now get back to the present! Now think what can you do right now in order to live the life YOU want. What can you do in order to achieve what you have lost so dearly?

Peeps, dream BIG and go BOLDLY from here on out!

Peace ya'll!

:)

You've been abused emotionally, physically, sexually? That's rough man.
