Mom & Dad, Happy 22nd Wedding Anniversary!

A long time ago, there were two persons who were very, very much in love with each other. One was Prince Wedge Hong of The Hongs and the other was Princess Terri Ng of The Ngs. On 24th March of 1985 the lovely couple shared their vows and were happily married.

Through the years, they were blessed with 3 children. The first was the almost perfect Princess Hong Yi, then came the all-so-charming Prince Hong Ming and last but not least the naughty but adorable little Prince Hong Wey! Life was good if not happier than ever in the royal family of the Hongs.






On the 22nd wedding anniversary of the King & Queen of the Hongs, I, none other than Prince Hong Ming, have written this poem to them:


It takes two people to make a loving pair,
Who both took me under their care,
They loved all three of us very fair,
They're always there for us even on my first dare.

You both went through a lot of pain for me,
So that I may become a better person who you want me to be,
Though I've hurt you both time and again like stings from bees,
You both love and forgave me which has set my heart free.

There are few who are so lucky to have the parents I do,
Companionship and friendship and loving feelings, too.
Now I shall end my poem with this to say,
I'll always love you both forever and a day.
